Hi, my name is Connor Howard and I’m a senior at Hallsville High School (5A) where I'm the A player on the Lady Cat golf team.  I’ve had three successful seasons, and I'm looking forward to an even better one this year.  I set a school record for the lowest individual single round score my freshman year and broke it my junior year.  I’ve received the team MVP award all three years, and I led the team to the UIL State Tournament for the first time in school history.

In addition to high school tournaments, I've competed in multiple NTPGA (North Texas PGA) and TJGT (Texas Junior Golf Tour) tournaments and others like the Starburst Junior Classic.  To date, I've played in 142 tournaments and have a very strong record with 42 wins and an additional 64 top five finishes.

I also volunteer at the local First Tee chapter where I'm a junior coach and mentor.  I've had the opportunity to attend some of their national academies including the College Prep Academy in Reno, NV last summer and will be playing in the Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach in September.

I attend church regularly with my parents, and I'm actively involved in our church's youth group.  I take my grades seriously, and I finished my junior year ranked 16th in my class of 324.  I'm also involved in several student organizations like National Honor Society and Z Club (Zonta International).

I am very interested in playing college golf and would like to visit with you about opportunities you may have on your team.  Thank you for taking time to view my profile.
